Imagine Dragons Premiere New Song 'Roots'

. (Radio.com) Last week, Imagine Dragons cryptically changed their social profiles to all black, with the caption "My Roots." The social media post foreshadowed and promoted the impending release of the Las Vegas-based rockers' brand new single titled "Roots."

World premiered by KROQ-FM in Los Angeles on Wednesday (Aug 26), the band "officially" released the song at 9 pm (PT). The short track features a distorted drum beat over a prominent piano riff with Dan Reynolds singing the catchy chrous: "Another day / Another door / Another high / Another low / Rock bottom / Rock Bottom / Rock Bottom / I'm going back to my roots."

To promote the single, the group shared a collage on Twitter featuring pictures of the band members when they were younger as well as fan submitted photographs. Read more about that and check out the song here.
