MTV Give VMA Moonman Statue A Makeover
. Like the Academy Award or the Emmy or the Grammy, the statue itself is a symbol that time and trends don't shift. That is, until this year. MTV has decided to give their award a new look for its 2015 ceremony, via designer Jeremy Scott. The Moonman will still be the shape of an astronaut with an MTV flag, but now will be multi-colored rather than just silver. The flag will be the color of the traditional TV test pattern as a nod to the iconic image of what TVs would display in the middle of the night.
