(hennemusic) Rush performed the final show of their 40th anniversary R40 Live tour at The Forum in Los Angeles on August 1st. Video from the show, which may be the band's final tour date, has been posted online

The group's 2-set, 26-song show presented material from throughout their career, including many fan favorites and vintage album tracks. "Thank you for forty awesome years," posted the band.

Bassist Geddy Lee and Rush manager Ray Danniels have both discussed the group's plans to scale back the length of touring as band members approach their mid-60s in the next few years, with drummer Neil Peart wishing to spend more time at home with his family in California.

"It's most likely our last tour," said Lee recently. "I couldn't put it any more accurately. I can't say for sure. But it doesn't mean we don't want to work together still, it doesn't mean we won't do another creative project and I've got ideas for shows we could do that don't involve a tour."
