Jason Derulo Laments Lost Love On New Song 'Cheyenne'

. (Radio.com) Jason Derulo looks back with regret on lost love on his new song "Cheyenne." The danceable track showcases Derulo's impressive falsetto but throughout the three-and-a-half-minute song it's hard not to think of him singing about his ex Jordin Sparks on the emotional track.

The song begins with pounding on doors as a friend warns him to leave because somebody called the cops. As the sound of cop cars are heard in the distance Derulo enters, admitting that, "I'm a little unsure how it got so complicated."

He then laments that he "just can't stop thinking about you every day no I can't stop now" and that he "never meant to fall in love." "Cheyenne" is a brand new song off Derulo's upcoming album, Everything Is 4, which will be released on June 2. Listen here.
