Zayn Malik Posts First Tweet Since Leaving One Direction

(Radio.com) Zayn Malik's post-One Direction career just took a bold new step in a new direction: social media. Malik tweeted on Monday, for the first time since leaving his former group.

He posted a message of thanks to everyone who's stood by him. "Wanna say thanks to everyone that's been there for me over the last few weeks, love you all.. you know who you are x," he tweeted.

In case you thought that he was referring to mysterious stranger with the solitary letter, Malik clarified the British expression in a follow-up tweet: "The x is a kiss by the way ha it's not a mystery .. sorry to any confused � " Read more here.
