Jamie Foxx Announces New Album 'Hollywood'

But his portrayal of Ray Charles, which earned him an Academy Award, helped usher in a musical Jamie Foxx in the same year of 2004, where he featured on two smash singles, Twista's "Slow Jamz" and Kanye West's "Gold Digger." Foxx's next album Hollywood was announced last week on Jimmy Kimmel Live and will be released on May 18 via RCA.
