She told Cosmo that the driving force for songwriting inspiration tends to be what she's currently going through. "A lot of times, I'll be having an argument or a conversation with someone, and I'm like, 'Oh, that's a lyric!' Then I think, 'Focus back on the conversation,'" she admitted.
