Azealia Banks Releases New Song 'Chasing Time'

(Radio.com) Though one might have expected the floodgates to open wide once Azealia Banks was relieved of her contract with Universal, only one song - "Heavy Metal & Reflective" - has impacted since the rapper went independent.

But with "Chasing Time," all that changes. Banks released the new track Monday (Sept. 22), showcasing her singing voice as well as her rhyming ability over an electronic-based background.

The song has a bit of a '90s vibe with its beat before breaking into a bass-heavy chorus. "Am I chasing time?" Banks asks on the chorus. "'Cause I'm wasting all mine on you."

No word on if "Chasing Time" is off an upcoming Banks release or if it's a standalone single. Listen to the track here.
