Young Thug Wants To Name Next Album Tha Carter VI

(Radio.com) The influence of Lil Wayne on Young Thug is obvious: the wild, warbling delivery, unhinged metaphors and carefree linguistic approach. Thugger has never been shy about his love for Wayne as a mentor figure; he's signed to Birdman's Rich Gang imprint for life, calling the relationship "blood in, blood out" and stating that he's recorded "a million" tracks with Wayne.

Now he's announced plans to immortalize his love for Wayne by calling his next album Tha Carter VI. Lil Wayne has often expressed that his next album, Carter V, will be his last.

And in an interview with MTV, Young Thug states that as long as the rapper doesn't use the VI title, he wants it for himself. "Wayne coming out with more albums so I don't know if he'll name one Tha Carter VI," notes the rapper. Read more here.
