Cat Stevens (Yusuf Islam) Releasing New Album
. Tell 'Em I'm Gone will be released on Oct. 27 via Sony Music/Legacy Recordings. It will be his first album of material since Roadsinger, released May 2009. The album, recorded in studios across the world including Los Angeles, Dubai, Brussels and London, features five original songs from the 66-year-old, plus five additional cover songs. The latter includes the Edgar Winter cover "Living to Die," which is now available to stream via Rolling Stone. Rick Rubin co-produced the album with Yusuf, while Bonnie "Prince" Billy, Tinariwen, Richard Thompson, Charlie Musselwhite and Matt Sweeney collaborated on the 10-track album. Read more here.
