Keith Richards Makes Appearance On The Today Show

(hennemusic) Keith Richards has just published his first children's book, "Gus & Me: The Story of My Granddad and My First Guitar", and the Rolling Stones guitarist sat down with NBC Today Show host Matt Lauer on Tuesday to discuss the project. "I realized it's time to make grandpa's hip," joked Richards.

Keith collaborated with his daughter, artist Theodora Richards, who provided illustrations for the book, which was inspired by a childhood experience shared in the guitarist's 2010 New York Times best-selling memoir, "Life."

The story was written with Barnaby Harris and Bill Shapiro and has been simultaneously released in hardcover and ebook, with the hardcover edition including an exclusive audio CD featuring bonus book content. Watch his Today Show appearance here.
