Glen Campbell To Receive Lifetime Achievement Honor

. (Radio.com) Next month, Glen Campbell will be honored with the lifetime achievement award at the Hollywood Music in Media Awards. The fifth annual awards event will be held on Nov. 4 at the Fonda Theater in Hollywood, Calif.

Less than a month after Campbell released his final recording of "I'm Not Gonna Miss You," the country singer will be recognized for his contribution to the music industry.

According to Billboard, Campbell is considered the first country artist to cross over to the pop charts. In addition to his own career, he is featured playing guitar on the Beach Boys' Pet Sounds and Frank Sinatra's Strangers in the Night. Read more here.
