Rolling Stones Replacing Member On Tour Due To illness
. "Due to being a bit under the weather, Bobby Keys will not be joining the Stones for the Australian and New Zealand tour dates," the Stones announced via their website. "Bobby is under doctor's orders to take it a bit easy for the next month and hopes to see everyone soon." Sitting in for him will be Karl Denson, a saxophonist/flute player/singer well known to jam band fans as the leader of Karl Denson's Tiny Universe. He's also played with a number of other artists, including Lenny Kravitz and Steve Winwood. "It's the opportunity of a lifetime, the chance to see the world through a giant pair of lips," Denson said in a press statement, referring to the Rolling Stones' iconic logo. "It's going to be amazing to get even closer to this music that I have listened to all my life." Read more here. Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
