Taylor Swift's New Song About A Fragile Relationship
. She told the morning show that the song is about the "fragility and breakable nature of some relationships." It's about a relationship where she was "living day to day, wondering where it was going, if it was going to go anywhere or was going to end the next day." "It was a relationship where you never felt like you were standing on solid ground," she explained. "And that kind of a feeling brings on excitement, but also extreme anxiety and kind of a frantic feeling of wondering, endless questions." The song, which she wrote with fun. and Bleachers singer, Jack Antonoff and you can hear a :36 second snippet of here, features lines like, "The rest of the world was black and white / We were in screaming color / Are we out of the woods, yet / Are we in the clear?" Swift goes on to say that the song sounds like all of those anxieties, but it "stresses that a relationship is breakable and fragile and full of anxiety doesn't mean it isn't worthwhile, exciting and beautiful and all the things we hoped for."
