Little Big Town Release 'Quit Breaking Up with Me'

. (Radio.com) Little Big Town are tired of breaking up. Well, not in real life. "Quit Breaking Up with Me," their newest song off their forthcoming album Pain Killer, talks of a drama-filled relationship that one just can't seem to escape.

The track opens with a distorted mic, which has members Karen Fairchild and Kimberly Schlapman sharing lead vocals singing "forever."

"You say it's over with a middle finger / But then you're calling before I turn off my ringer," they sing. "And I answer 'cause I love to hear 'you're sorry' for the 400th time."

Written by busbee, Natalie Hemby and Shane McAnally, the song finds the quartet singing of how they're always fixing something that was never broken. Despite the somber tone of the lyrics, it's easy to see the upbeat track being a hit in a live setting.
