Kesha Sues Dr. Luke, Claiming Sexual and Physical Abuse
. According to TMZ, the singer claims, among other things, that she was given "sober pills" after drinking with Dr. Luke (real name Lukasz Gottwald) and later woke up naked in his bed with no memory of getting there. In another instance, she claims he forced her to snort a drug on a plane and then forced himself on her after she had taken the drug. She also brought forward claims of abuse that led to an eating disorder for which she had to enter rehab. "You are not that pretty, you are not that talented, you are just lucky to have me," he reportedly told her, along with calling her a "fat f**king refrigerator." While Kesha has not commented on the lawsuit, her lawyer Geragos submitted a statement. "This lawsuit is a wholehearted effort by Kesha to regain control of her music career and her personal freedom after suffering for 10 years as a victim of mental manipulation, emotional abuse and an instance of sexual assault at the hands of Dr. Luke," he said. "The facts presented in our lawsuit paint a picture of a man who is controlling and willing to commit horrible acts of abuse in an attempt to intimidate an impressionable, talented, young female artist into submission for his personal gain. Kesha is focused on moving her life and her career beyond this terrible time." Read more here. Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
