Snoop Dogg Celebrates 1 Million YouTube Subscribers With New Track
. It's a funk-leaning two-and-a-half-minute jam where Snoop winkingly raps about his many phases ("I reinvented myself seven times/ Going on eight") and his YouTube channel. He also drops thank you lines like "I wanna thank y'all from the bottoms up / Smoke something, and put your bottoms up," fully aware of the absurdity of the song's premise. Regardless of his motivation, it's good to hear Snoop back at it. The track marks a rare solo rap song from the formerly prolific artist these days, and his upcoming album, produced by Pharrell Williams, will be his first all-rap LP since 2011's Doggumentary.
