Wale Releases The Followers Video
. The brooding and moody clip features Wale rapping the song on an idyllic hillside overlooking the city, interspersed with slice of life vignettes where everyday people are seen reciting the lyrics in situations ranging from getting a haircut to lover's quarrel. There's also a spoken word break taken from a vintage episode of Seinfeld, further cementing Wale's long-running connection to comedian Jerry Seinfeld. The Nas compilation album that will feature "The Followers" was originally set for a September 2014 release, but has been pushed back to an as yet undisclosed drop date next year.
