Flying Lotus Debuts Unreleased Kendrick Lamar Collaboration
. In fact, Lotus recently claimed that Kendrick "took all my beats." At a recent show in Washington, D.C., Lotus showed his audience what one of those beats sounded like. He played a version of "Eyes Above," which features K-Dot breathing fire over a stripped-down instrumental. In a recent interview with Pitchfork, Lotus explains the story behind the song. "There's actually another track that he did on this album that I had to take off for political reasons, but it was a really cool thing," the producer explained, regarding "Eyes Above." "He came to the house and laid it down and killed it. He didn't come with no entourage or nothing. It was real special to me." Watch the video here.
