Daft Punk Plan Alive Reissues On Vinyl

(Radio.com) Daft Punk concerts have become the holy grail of electronic music shows, thanks to the duo's career-defining performance at Coachella 2006 and followed by the now-legendary "Alive 2006/2007″ tour, which left dazzled audiences in its wake over the course of just a mere 13 shows across North America.

That jaunt was captured on live album Alive 2007, which we now know will get be released on vinyl for the first time, along with a vinyl reissue of the band's first live collection, Alive 1997. The wax reissues will be sold both separately and in a limited box set containing both releases (via Modern Vinyl).

The box set will contain a clutch of collectible goodies, including a 52-page booklet of photos from the '06/'07 tour and the music being pressed on white vinyl. Read more here.
