GWAR-Themed Restaurant Opening This Summer
. According to a release, the band will open their own restaurant and bar that features menu items designed by band member BalSac himself. GWARbar, based in Richmond, Va., will open this summer. BalSac, the band's guitarist and creator of the group's GWAR-B-Q Sauce, invented the menu. "My mother taught me the endless secrets of intergalactic cooking," he said in a statement. "And then I ate her." GWARbar will move into a location previously operated by another entrepreneur. The band is raising funds via Indiegogo to help renovate the space.
