Singled Out: Halsted's Don't Cry Your Eyes Out
. One central recurring theme in this album is the transition from those tumultuous, young adult years to a slightly more steady, measured pace of full blown adulthood. A lot of pop culture and music centers around your 20s and those formative years, but there's a lot to be said about becoming an adult. What does it mean to get older and have kids and be in a marriage? I think there's a way to explore those themes honestly that connects with people, and hopefully there's a way that you can speak to people while talking about those things just as much as when I'm singing about a girl who's done me wrong.
