Failure Reveal First New Music Since 1996
. The newly recorded track is taken from Tree of Stars, a special tour-only EP that also includes live versions of fan favorites "Let It Drip," "Frogs," Sergeant Politeness" and "Heliotropic." Members of Failure talked about their rapturously received return during an exclusive interview with Radio.com, where they discussed creating new music, as well as making amends for the band's abrupt dissolution at the end of the '90s. "When we came out it was all about grunge and Pearl Jam and Nirvana and I think our sound didn't check all the boxes for grunge so it was a bit of a problem," singer Ken Andrews said in regards to the band's original run. "That's why this whole thing feels good for us now. It didn't end well for us in the '90s.
