Hunter Hayes Goes To No. 1 With 'Storyline'
. This marks Hayes' second consecutive No. 1 on the Country Albums chart, as his 2011 self-titled debut also landed at No. 1. In an interview with Radio.com promoting Storyline, Hayes talked of how his new album is a continuation of his debut release. "It's a deeper conversation, too. I always said that for this record I wanted higher highs and lower lows - I wanted it to be more emotional," he said. "And I think in going for more emotion, you have to go deeper into your soul, right? You've got to be vulnerable, you've got to be convicted. You've gotta be really, really deep on this stuff. And Storyline was the journey to find whatever that was going to end up being." more on this story Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
