Arctic Monkeys Cover Tame Impala's 'Feels Like We Only Go Backwards'
. For this version, Alex Turner brings out the acoustic guitar for a softer and more subtle take on the psychedelic single, which has him crooning, "I got my hopes up again/ Oh no not again." There seems to be something about this song as of late, being that the song was recently reworked by Tame Impala with a little help from Kendrick Lamar for the Divergent soundtrack. On that version, Kendrick goes right in on the trippy track, laying some particularly gruff raps over the song's swirling melodies and shuffling rhythm. Arctic Monkeys are currently on tour in Australia, before kicking off the North American leg of their world tour on June 14 in Louisville, KY. The band is also slated to headline this year's Lollapalooza taking place August 1-3 in Grant Park. Other headliners include Eminem, Skrillex and Kings of Leon. Watch the cover here.
