Shakira Releases Dare (La La La) Video
. This seems to be one of those videos that an internationally famous artist with a packed schedule crams into the middle of doing 500 other things. We get Shakira in the same leather and metal studs outfit with a medieval vibe while the background changes - a novel spin on her previous video with Rihanna for "Can't Remember to Forget You" where the location was unchanged but her outfits were many. It's Shakira on a wall, backed by the blue, blue sky. It's Shakira on a colorful tiled background. It's Shakira in a field, Shakira by a hedge. In truth, it's Shakira popped onto different spots in the same location because that was all the time Shakira had. At some point it became obvious to veteran music video director Anthony Mandler, who helmed this clip, that Shakira all alone dancing to this Max Martin produced track was a very awkward look, and so we also get some flashes of other people from a crowded club, dressed in their best Carnivale attire. No Shakira is an island. Watch the video here. Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
