With this year's EDC already a complete sellout of both general admission and VIP tickets, fans have been chomping at the bit to know who'll be performing when the show kicks off over the weekend of June 20-22.

Pasquale Rotella, the head of Insomniac Events which produces the Electric Daisy Carnival, has written an open letter to fans on Facebook regarding not just the furor surrounding the long-awaited reveal of this year's lineup, but the dance music scene in general and the goal of Insomniac events in general.

He also used the occasion to say that this year's EDC roster will be announced on Tuesday, May 27, so dance music fans will want to set those calendars to find out which EDM luminaries will be gracing the Electric Daisy Carnival stages this year.

Rotella recently revealed that Under the Electric Sky, the documentary film about EDC 2013, will be shown in movie theaters across the country on May 29.
