(Radio.com) The rumors are true. After speculation last week that Gwen Stefani would be joining The Voice, the news that the No Doubt frontwoman would be added as a coach for the show was confirmed Tuesday (April 29) during an announcement from Carson Daly on last night's show.

"Before we start the show, I want to make a very, very big announcement for us here," Daly said. "This all just happened moments ago. We're very happy to officially announce that Gwen Stefani will be added to the Voice family."

Stefani will replace Christina Aguilera on the seventh season of the show. On May 5, Stefani will take The Voice stage to perform. Find out details about that here.
