Jerrod Niemann At Home With New Album
. "Red-check carpet, red walls, red ceilings. I call it the Red Room, but I know 50 Shades of Grey supposedly has some pretty interesting things in the Red Room. I will say that mine's much more boring than that." Niemann said he plans to record in his Red Room from now on, rather than meet in the studio at the beginning of every album cycle. "You forget about the weather, you forget about everything around you, and you're just in this room to be creative. I'll write a song and record a version of it there at my house, and I'll take those tracks to the studio and let [producer] Jimmie [Lee Sloas] fix all my mistakes." Niemann's third Sony Music Nashville release, High Noon, is peppered with plenty of drinking songs, something Niemann is known for, and he wouldn't have it any other way. "I came from the bar-band days where you learn to be a house band," he said. "It's like your education in being an entertainer. You stick to what you know. Since I've been singing to drunks since I could play guitar, it is unfortunately very natural." more on this story Radio.com is an official news provider for antiMusic.com.
