Cage The Elephant Release 'Take It Or Leave It' Video
. "I came up with the idea after seeing American Hustle," singer Matthew Shultz told Radio.com of the video's inspiration. "I just really liked the aesthetic, that kind of '70s disco, macho kind of thing. The video's kinda like Saturday Night Fever meets Skatetown USA, Patrick Swayze's first movie." As Shultz explained, "We're like the backing band to this roller skating disco competition and the skaters that we got were amazing. Everything looked really authentic. It was awesome." When asked if he'd taken a spin around the roller rink, Shultz laughed and admitted he's terrified of small-wheeled vehicles. This means skateboards, roller skates and the like are strictly off limits for the singer. The Bowling Green, KY is scheduled to skate through a series of dates starting on April 12 at Coachella.
