They started work on the 10-track title soon after the launch of debut LP On An On in 2012. The label describes it as "the archetypal Canterbury sound evolving into a surprisingly heartfelt mutation of Arcadian acoustic, and Syd Arthur's uniquely modern voice."

Included on the album is the track Hometown Blues, which grew out of a studio session with fan Paul Weller. Frontman Liam Magill explains: "We were jamming and it just fell out. Weller actually got my lyric book out and read through it - that was pretty nuts. I nailed the essence of what I was trying to say."
