Photos of Kurt Cobain And Courtney Love's Filthy Apartment Released
. Photos taken by a press photographer two years before Cobain's tragic death, reveal a filthy apartment filled with piles of garbage that include unopened mail, old copies of Rolling Stone, prescription pill bottles and drug paraphernalia including a syringe and a burnt spoon. Shots reveal carpets stained with unrecognizable stains and walls covered in spray painted graffiti. While one specific photo shows a videotape of the Nirvana single "Come As You Are" next to a polaroid picture, a withered rose, and a letter from California Congressman Henry Waxman, considered to be one of the most liberal lawmakers on the Hill.
