I had this idea for a while - I needed to write about my miscommunication in relationships and feeling emotionally retarded, and I wanted to use the word "braindead," I just didn't know how/when.

Once I heard HSVN's track I had the song down pretty quickly but something was still missing. A few days later I added more ambience and delays, tweaked some vocal parts and it came alive. Nobody was overly excited about it from the first listen but after a few plays it became one of our favorite songs.
