Asher Rother Goes Roller Disco For Tangerine Girl Video

. (Radio.com) In the video for Asher Rother's new song, "Tangerine Girl," he's taking us back, like way back to the days of roller disco. The clip follows a nerdy guy who is prepared to let off some steam and maybe find a sweet girl at the roller rink. Dressed to the nines-a bedazzled shirt with a crystal-encrusted leopard on it, to be exact-he's ready to skate it out to the tunes of DJ Asher.

But he's not the only guy who knows how to skate in this place. Soon we meet Clementine, who helps our lonely guy find the Tangerine girl of his dreams.

In interview with Radio.com, Roth revealed that the first single off his upcoming album, RetroHash (out April 22) is pretty ambitious. "I'm singing on it, trying things," he said. "The rap takes the back seat, which for me is great. I want to be here. I feel like I have something to contribute. I want to collaborate and do interesting music of all kinds."
