Vampire Weekend Expand Tour and Announce Tonight Show Appearance

. Vampire Weekend have expanded their upcoming tour plans and also announced that they will be making an appearance on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

The Tonight Show appearance will be taking place on March 24th and the band have added several amphitheaters shows to upcoming North American tour.

The tour is scheduled to kick off on April 24th and 25th in Austin, Tx and includes headline appearances at the Governors Ball and Bonnaroo music festivals.

Later this month the band will be heading to South America beginning with an appearance at Lollapalooza: Chile and the trek will include performances at Rock N'Fall Festival in Montevideo, Lollapalooza: Argentina, Festival Estereo Picnic in Bogata and concluding with an appearance at Lollapalooza: Brazil.

The band will be touring in support of their chart topping album Modern Vampires of the City.
