She broke the news with a posting on her Instagram account. She posted a photo of herself along with the caption "Doing some house work after 4 hours of sleep which is why i cant spell! On my way to the studio to work with Avicii! #clean".

Avicii did not directly confirm that he was working in the studio with Madonna, but did post a message on Twitter later that night that simply said "Studiomode!"

Neither Madonna's or Avicii's camp have revealed any more details about the collaboration and how it will be released, but The Canadian Press reports that last month during a red carpet interview Madonna revealed that she is making plans for her next studio album.
