Hip-hop star Rick Ross was arrested on Friday night in Greensboro, North Carolina following his performance at the SuperJam. He was taken into custody on an arrest warrant.

The warrant was issued for a failure to appear in court for a previous misdemeanor marijuana charge, Greensboro Police Department spokeswoman Susan Danielsen told USA Today.

Ross, real name is William L. Roberts, was taken to the Greensboro Detention Center by police and was later released on $1,000 bond. Watch a video of Fox affiliate WGHP's report here.
