Chief Keef's DUI Court Hearing Delayed Because of Tour

(Radio.com) Chief Keef's upcoming court hearing for his March arrest has been postponed so that it won't interfere with his touring schedule, a judge has ruled.

According to the Chicago Tribune, the rapper, born Keith Cozart, will not appear in court until Aug. 22 for a DUI arrest made earlier this year. The news comes after his attorney, Leah Starkman, made the request in Lake County court; Cozart was not in attendance.

The judge, in addition to pushing back the court appearance, also deemed it necessary for Chief Keef to undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation in California. The rapper is currently recording new music for an album there. more on this story
