Sky Ferreira Chides Lady Gaga, Media and Defends Terry Richardson

(Radio.com) Sky Ferreira has come out in support of Terry Richardson following a glut of negative press - this time flaring up after the revelation of Lady Gaga's botched video for "Do What U Want," which Richardson directed.

Ferreira, who has worked with Richardson in the past - she posed for him at a photoshoot toward the end of last year, for instance - defended the beleaguered photographer and director in a post on her Facebook today (June 26). In it, she noted that though many have come forward claiming they've had less-than-stellar relations with Richardson, she had had nothing of the sort in her dealings with him.

"I have never been forced or manipulated into anything," Ferreira wrote. "I made a music video with him and I have never felt uncomfortable with Terry & had 99 percent of the creative control. This was before I was 'famous.'"

She added that the allegations against Richardson - some have accused him of sexual assault - "are one thing," but she doesn't believe he should be blamed for the video, which features Gaga completely naked and in suggestive poses, flanked by R. Kelly, who's had some sexual allegations of his own.

"I'm not against/doubting people that have said they've encountered things with him (it's not my place to say so) but the media acting as if Terry Richardson manipulated Lady Gaga into making a video about getting touched by R. Kelly or whatever is a whole other thing," she wrote. "She is 28 year old woman & fully capable/aware of what she was doing. If she wants to do it is HER choice. Whether I agree with it or not.

"There are lots of details that we DON'T know about it. There are many reasons & FACTS why I support Terry Richardson that media (basically) refuses to acknowledge." more.
