(Radio.com) While the EDM world is still waiting to find out the details behind 36 concertgoers being rushed to the hospital during Avicii's performance Wednesday night (June 25) at Boston's TD Garden, more specifics are emerging.

Radio.com spoke with McKenzie Ridings, the social media manager for the Boston Public Health Commission, to better understand exactly how many people were transported to local hospitals in the Boston area and what the show, deemed a Level 2 Mass Casualty Incident, entails.

"Boston EMS transported four patients from outside the TD Garden," Ridings told Radio.com. "The TD Garden contracts with a private ambulance company and they transported 32 patients from the venue for a total of 36 total transports."

Due to patient confidentiality, Ridings couldn't release information on patient conditions, illness or injury, but The Boston Globe previously reported that authorities said most taken into hospital care was due to drug- and alcohol-related problems.

The Avicii concert has been labeled a Level 2 Mass Casualty Incident, which is a way to alert local hospitals of the incoming patients. more on this story
