(Radio.com) Aretha Franklin is the Queen of Soul, but she's calling in some heavy hitters - and drawing on some classic material - to make her next album one to remember.

The legendary singer has been working on tracks for her next record with Daryl Simmons and Babyface. According to Billboard, Don Was had signed on to do a few tracks as well, but when scheduling conflicts forced him to bow out, Outkast's Andre 3000 stepped in to work on four tracks.

In the can so far: covers of Gladys Knight & the Pips' "Midnight Train to Georgia," Barbra Streisand's "People," Donna Summer's "Last Dance" and Tina Turner's "What's Love Got to Do With It."

Franklin is also planning on recording Adele's "Rolling in the Deep." More details.
