Aretha Franklin Recruits Andre-3000 To Produce Songs On New Album
. The legendary singer has been working on tracks for her next record with Daryl Simmons and Babyface. According to Billboard, Don Was had signed on to do a few tracks as well, but when scheduling conflicts forced him to bow out, Outkast's Andre 3000 stepped in to work on four tracks. In the can so far: covers of Gladys Knight & the Pips' "Midnight Train to Georgia," Barbra Streisand's "People," Donna Summer's "Last Dance" and Tina Turner's "What's Love Got to Do With It."
