Jhene Aiko Releases New Song 'To Live and Die'
. After dropping a teaser for "To Live and Die" on Monday (June 23) on social media, the full track has made its way to the internet. It's the first new music we've gotten to hear from her long-awaited debut album, Souled Out which will be released by Def Jam imprint Atrium Records. Aiko tweeted a few lyrics to the song which, in the style of her previous work, deals with a disastrous love affair. "Where I'm from we live by the love, die by the love," Aiko sings. "Have mercy on me because I'm just a prisoner of your army of one." "My songs about weed are double entendres and are usually also be about love - like love as a drug," Aiko told Radio.com of her songwriting. Check out the new song here.
