Miley Cyrus Speaks Out For Justin Bieber

. (Radio.com) Embattled young pop stars of a feather flock together. The perpetually controversial Miley Cyrus has spoken out in support of the equally headline-generating Justin Bieber during a recent interview with Richard Wilkins on Australia's Today show.

"I think people should have time to grow up and figure out who they are," Miley said (via the Belfast Telegraph). "I think people need to sit and think of the times in their lives they were not proud of who they were.

"Imagine if that was completely exploited and everyone had their opinions." Cyrus' defense of her fellow pop star follows a deluge of negative press following Bieber and his very public bad behavior this year, which includes insulting Toronto mayor Rob Ford at a nightclub by asking if he had crack cocaine and the recent reveal of a years-old video that shows him singing a racist parody of his song "One Less Lonely Girl." more on this story
