(Radio.com) The undisputed kings of the viral music video are back, and they've brought along a friend: perspective. OK Go broke out the tricky visuals for "The Writing's on the Wall," the new single from the band's new EP. For their first video in two years, the four-piece assembled in a Brooklyn lot to shoot a clip where very little is actually as it initially seems.

From the onset, the band, perhaps best known for their treadmill-riding "Here It Goes Again" video from 2006, take a jaunt through the warehouse setting, activating different gadgets and mind tricks that make things seem one way when the camera first rests on the visual, but a whole other way in the blink of an eye.

Along the way, the use of mirrors, paint, forced perspective and other gags populate the video, which is shot - as the band's videos often are - in one go.

According to Rolling Stone, who premiered the video, "The Writing's on the Wall" took 50 tries before it got right - which makes the video's finale all the more satisfying when one sees the band and the video's crew very happy about its completion. Watch it here.
