My Ruin announced that they will be heading across the pond this summer to launch The Sacred Mood Tour of the UK which will include an appearance at this year's Alt-Fest.The tour will be kicking off on August 15th with the band's appearance at Alt-Fest and includes stops in London, Brighton, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, York and will conclude on August 23rd in Norwich.
Frontwoman Tairrie B. Murphy had these details about the tour, "We are excited to announce that Matt (Frenchie) LeChevalier will once again, be playing drums for My Ruin on our upcoming tour dates. Matt is a longtime friend of the band and part of our extended rock family who has previously joined us for both our 'Brutal Language' & 'Summer of Hell' tours (2006), played drums on our 'Throat Full of Heart' album (2008) and killed it behind the kit during our 'Ghosts and Good Stories' tour in 2011.
"We look forward to sharing the stage with him soon and seeing those of you who have continued to support My Ruin over the last 15 years keeping our spirit of independence alive when we return to rock hard this summer in the UK!"
The band will be launching the tour in support of their latest acclaimed studio album, "The Sacred Mood," which was released last spring.
