Lupe Fiasco and Ty Dolla Sign Release New Collaboration

. (Radio.com) For their first collaboration ever, Lupe Fiasco and Ty Dolla $ign have decided to, as the lyrics suggest, "do it." The duo is an interesting pairing, whose vocal styles strongly complement each other as well as the unconventional track with droning horn samples that backs them.

And both Bloods and Crips get name checked in the first verse, an interesting choice for two rappers from two cities with some the highest murder and gang violence rates in the nation.

The other "next to it" examples from "Let's Do It" flow a little smoother: pot with Biggie next to it, wealth and health, strippers and a club. Fiasco's new album, Tetsuo & Youth, is out sometime this year. Already the rapper released the song "Old School Love," featuring Ed Sheeran.
