Ace Frehley's New Album Reportedly Delayed Again
. The album, his first since 2009's "Anomaly", was originally scheduled to be released on June 24th but then the release date was delayed until July 8th. Amazon currently lists the release date in North America as July 19th but word surfaced on the web on Thursday that the album will be delayed again until August 19th (August 29th in Europe.) The album features the lead single "Gimme A Feelin" as well as a cover of the Steve Miller Band Classic "The Joker." For the album's cover art, Frehley reunited with Ken Kelly, who created the iconic covers for the hit KISS albums "Destroyer" and "Love Gun". Frehley had this to say about working with Kelly, "I've been talking with Ken Kelly since 2007 about painting a CD Cover for me and it has finally happened! I couldn't be more excited about the new Space Invader cover and the music behind it is also going to rock your world!" Kelly adds, "It was very exciting when I was approached with the idea of doing an album cover for Ace." He continues, "I had spoken to Ace on a few occasions about the possibility, so I was delighted when it actually happened." Stream the first single "Gimme A Feelin" here.
