Lily Tomlin Questions Beyonce 'Selling a Lot of Sex to Teeny-Boppers'

. (Radio.com) Ms. Frizzle just threw a little shade at Beyonce. Actress Lily Tomlin admitted in a recent interview that she thinks that the R&B star's status as a feminist icon who considers herself a "modern-day feminist" is "great," but there's just one problem: her message is still a little off.

"She is a pretty popular woman and she's married to a very powerful man, but she's still selling sex," Tomlin told PrideSource. "She's selling a lot of sex to teeny-boppers."

Tomlin backtracked a bit when the interviewer mentioned the Beygency, a fictional(?) agency profiled in a recent Saturday Night Live video that preys on people who diss the pop star.

"Oh, s-t," she said. "I like her! I don't dislike her! But I don't pay any attention to that because - I mean, she's fantastically beautiful and dances, but, you know, it's very suggestive. If I was a 10-year-old, I would try to emulate her like most 10-year-olds do."

And she says that's a big problem, adding that "young girls are too sexually available" and that "the culture is so sexualized with girls and women. more.
