According to various reports, including The Hollywood Reporter, Simmons will coproduce a Lifetime series titled Ugly Models tackling a U.K. modeling agency that works with "character models with unique and unusual looks" as it attempts to expand into the U.S. market.

The company's website boasts that "We like our women fat and our men geeky, we like the extremely tall and the shockingly small. No one is too abstract for our books! We are Ugly.
