Beastie Boys Win $1.7 Mil From Monster Energy

The Brooklyn band sued the energy drink maker in 2012 for soundtracking a promotional snowboarding video with a remix by DJ Z-Trip featuring the Beastie's songs "Sabotage," "So Watcha Want" and "Make Some Noise." The four-minute YouTube video ended with "RIP MCA," a dedication to band member Adam Yauch who had passed away the day before from cancer.
